NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Barnard Early Childhood Center in New Rochelle is implementing the nationwide Reading Is Fundamental initiative, which relies heavily on parent and guardian involvement.
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students enjoyed hearing the book "Snowmen at Night" read aloud while watching adults act out the story.
